Dr. Jacob I. Sznajder, Northwestern Memorial Hospital, received the first ARDS Excellence Award, presented at the ARDS 15th Anniversary Gala, September, 2016.
Dr. Sznajder received this honor as one of the first medical professionals to recognize the need for an organization supporting and educating patients, families and the public about Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome. He has been instrumental and actively supportive of ARDS Foundation since its inception and in the years that have followed.
ARDS Foundation is grateful for the years of dedication Dr. Sznajder has devoted to critical care research and ARDS patients.
