The private buses there are pretty chaotic, and their stops are often in random, unpredictable places. So, instead of going crazy trying to find the Howrah to Sonagachi bus number, you’re better off just booking a car with GetTransfer. It was used on my last trip, and a lot of time was saved. The best part is you can hop in a roomy minivan for four people, the price is set, and you won’t get stung by traffic jams.
