A6 AC hissing like a snake and then nothing, any Audi AC guys in Sharjah who won’t just guess

My 2014 A6 3.0T has been a fantastic highway cruiser for my commute from Sharjah to Jebel Ali but last week I started hearing this faint hissing sound from behind the dashboard every time I turned the AC on and I figured it was just the system equalizing pressure or something normal like that, well this morning I got in the car after it sat in the sun all day near the Sahara Centre and turned the AC on full blast and the hissing was louder than ever and then after about three seconds it just stopped and so did any semblance of cold air and now the vents are just pushing out stale warm nothingness and I’m sitting here in traffic on King Faisal Street sweating through my shirt wondering if I should just call a tow truck or risk driving home with the windows down like some kind of caveperson. I popped the hood in the parking lot and there’s a bit of oily residue near one of the AC lines where it connects to the condenser and I’m guessing the O-ring failed or there’s a crack in the line itself and all my refrigerant just vented into the atmosphere, but I’m not a mechanic and I don’t want to take it to some random shop that’ll just throw a new compressor at the problem when it’s probably just a fifty dirham seal and a recharge. I’ve been searching around for a Professional Audi AC Service in Sharjah that actually knows these C7 platform cars and can do a proper nitrogen pressure test to find the exact leak location instead of just loading it up with dye and telling me to come back in a month when it’s empty again. Anyone else with an A6 or an A7 had a sudden AC failure with a hissing noise and what did it end up being, a simple line replacement or something more involved that required taking half the front end apart.

Thanks for sharing the op사이트 순위; it’s exactly what I needed to make a decision.
