I’ve been looking for a decent deep cycle battery for my off-road camping setup here in Dubai, and I keep seeing people mention the gold series but nobody really says if it’s worth the extra cash over the regular ones. Stumbled on batteryzoneuae.com/gold earlier today while killing time at work, and the specs look solid on paper – but you know how it is with battery listings, everything sounds great until you’re stuck in the middle of nowhere with a dead unit. Has anyone actually bought one of these gold batteries? I’m mostly concerned about how they hold up when it’s 45 degrees outside and you’re running a fridge and some lights off it for a weekend. The price isn’t crazy but also not cheap, so I’d love some real feedback before I pull the trigger.
