On June 19, 2001, over seventy-five people gathered at Tucci Benucch Restaurant in Chicago, Illinois to dine on fine food, enjoy cocktails, speak to psychic Joe Who, and support the ARDS Foundation in their effort to raise money to educate and support others about Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome.
Due to the informative column by Eric Zorn that appeared in the Chicago Tribune the day before the benefit, ARDS Foundation was able to connect with many of the people in the Chicago area who have been touched by this devastating syndrome.
