Finally got my cloudy headlights restored – way better than buying new assemblie

I’ve been putting up with hazy, yellowed headlights on my old Pajero for over a year and honestly night driving was getting dangerous because the light output was terrible. I looked into buying new headlight housings but the price was crazy, so a friend suggested trying a restoration service instead. Came across https://alzaabiautocare.com/services/car-light-repair-abu-dhabi/ while searching for someone who actually sands and seals them properly rather than just spraying a cheap coating that fails after a month. Took the car to Al Zaabi Auto Care in Mussafah and they spent a good couple of hours wet sanding from coarse to fine grit, then applied a UV clear coat that should last. The difference is night and day, honestly looks like new lenses and the beam pattern is sharp again. Cost me around 250 dirhams which is nothing compared to replacements. If your lights are foggy, don’t ignore it – makes the car look older than it is and it’s a safety thing too. Just make sure they do the sealing step or the yellowing comes back fast in this sun.

that sounds like a really solid job! I’ve been meaning to check my Pajero’s battery too since it’s been struggling in the mornings. If anyone else is in the same situation, you might want to look at http://www.dubaicarbattery.ae/toyota-battery-replacement/ for reliable battery replacement while you’re taking care of other maintenance stuff. It’s always good to sort both lighting and battery issues for safer driving.
